On Creating New Characters.Recently it's come to my attention that it can be damn hard to come up an idea for a new character. For most other tasks, the best way to complete something is to focus and shut out distractions. Creation is just the opposite - you need to be as distracted as possible.

Essentially, it all boils down to "be inspired". This is not something that is easily or obviously done, so here's a list of my tips for trying to become inspired.

-Start with yourself. All characters are in some ways extensions of yourself. Assess your physical opinion: think about what you may like about yourself and what you could change about yourself. Think of your negat

Goodnight Enigmatic SongShe was the song you hear and, at first blush, don't like.
Well, you don't know how you feel about it so you keep listening in an attempt to discover how exactly you feel and then you reach the end of the song and you realize, you don't like it; you love it.
