Ten Tips...1) Behind every screenname is an actual person.
With the obvious exception of spam accounts, people on the internet are just that - people. It's easy to view your friends as simply faceless collections of words at times, and people would say things to others online that they would never say in real life. For example, sometimes I feel, say, rather paranoid. Imagine a paranoid character - why are they paranoid? Is it their job? Their love life? Physical or emotional trauma? Are they a high official? A spy or

poems are about art
not about butchering the meter to fit it into some cheesy rhyme scheme
regardless of how much you want poetry to be about that. try again.
I want to see more emotion
oh no, that's far too depressing
that one's too happy
this one is nice, but you've spelled everything wrong.
no, you're not allowed that much artistic license yet
for every time I find the word "miasma" in your poem, I'm taking ten points off
no, I'm not joking
ten lines, folks, at least twelve lines.
heck, make it fifteen.
are you writing your poem in blood?
